High toned and fresh. More so than 2016 or 2017. Pencil lead, gravel, red fruit - cranberry, cassis, raspberry. Notes of spice, red and purple flowers, with some vanilla oak. High acid and lively. More fruit on palate than earth to start. Firm tannin. Dusty. Dark chocolate. Green pepper/herbs. Really classic cabernet Sauvignon. Extreme length. Did I mention mouth-watering acid? Total yum and will be my house wine for a few years.

Beginning with a beautifully balanced nose, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon offers focus and precision with gorgeous aromas of dusty plum and elegant oak spices before showing delicate dusty red flowers. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is delightful and oak-tinged on the palate, with a balanced structure, fine-grained tannins and succulent acidity. The wine continues evolving in the mouth over the long, ripe and subtly spiced finish.
Wine Spectator 94
Combines polish with a handsome structure, offering expressive black cherry and plum flavors accented with Asian spices and savory sage. Finishes with medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030. 1,955 cases made.

Gramercy was founded in 2005 with a dedication to Rhône varieties, but quickly felt the irresistible draw of Washington Cabernet, with wines like this showing the appeal. The aromas offer notes of dried herb, dark cherry, scorched earth and spice. It's the balance of the cherry and graphite flavors that most impresses. Cabernet is often big and bold. This wine shows its sophisticated side but with no shortage of intensity. It's a whole lot of delicious. Best from 2027-2035.

Deep, concentrated and layered, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is an extraordinarily good bottling by Gramercy Cellars. On the nose, it revels in ripe black currant tones that combine with suggestions of sagebrush, iodine and Earl Grey tea. The effortless palate is plush, generous and soft throughout the drinking experience. Enjoy this beautiful new bottling over the next 15 years.

The 2018 Gramercy Estates (90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot) is terrific, with medium to full-bodied richness as well as lots of underlying tannins. Giving up notes of blackcurrants, tobacco, and leafy herbs as well as some smoky minerality and chocolate, it shines for its balance, depth, and length. Drink it over the coming 15 years or more.
Research has found that the descriptions in wine labels, images and reviews can actually alter people’s emotions, even encouraging them to pay more for a bottle. Your online customers can't hold the bottle in their hand, so if your website doesn't provide complete, precise details about the products you sell, you're missing sales. The name of the wine and price is just not enough, people want to know more, and that's where a lot of online wine and spirit shops fail.
